Knowing and understanding the natural environment allows implementing relevant and sustainable actions to preserve it.
OiEau, which has placed data, the enhancement of knowledge and the design of information systems at the heart of its activities for more than 30 years, has created a unique platform, freely accessible on the Web, dedicated to basic calculations of environmental statistics.
With no software to install, the Aide à la STAtistique ENVironnementale (ASTA-ENV) platform allows:
- run powerful and robust statistical tests,
- visualise trends in one or more parameters on one or more sampling points,
- detect the potential presence of a break or a significant trend reversal in the chronicle studied.
ASTA-ENV has been developed so that users can process their own dataset, the data from ADES(the French national Groundwater Data Access Bank) and the data from Naïades (the French surface water quality data access bank).
OiEau makes this expertise in the analysis and interpretation of natural environment monitoring data available to a large variety of stakeholders, through Technical and institutional support and Cooperation assignments, in France and in the world.
