About us
The International Office for Water is a non-profit association established under French law, recognised as a public utility and created in 1991.
Its activities cover the small and large water cycles, as well as aquatic environments, biodiversity, the circular economy and climate change.
OiEau’s long-standing mission is to develop capacities for better management of water, a vital resource, at all scales – local, national and transboundary – in France and worldwide.
OiEau covers four complementary areas of expertise:
- Technical and Institutional Support & Cooperation
- Training & Educational engineering
- Knowledge development & Information Systems
- Management and development of the network of water stakeholders.
As a result, we possess broad-based technical, operational, institutional, legal and strategic expertise, which we place at the service of a wide variety of customers and partners.
