Tests & Pilots
For more than 30 years, in France and worldwide, OiEau has been helping stakeholders in the water, sanitation, circular economy and waste sector to design, test and operate their processes and technologies.
As an association that is recognised as a public utility, is neutral towards sector stakeholders and is not an equipment supplier, OiEau recommends the best innovative technology – whether currently available or to be developed – with no consideration for winning future contracts.
Our expertise in pilots and innovation and treatability tests builds on our outstanding equipment and facilities, since OiEau has a range of testing and equipment platforms covering all the professions in which it operates.
Drawing on our unique expertise, we are able to carry out context analyses (regulatory framework, state of the art, research programme inventories) and water and waste characterisation studies (sampling, analyses, lab-based treatability tests).
We handle all stages in the treatment pilot development process, from conducting the feasibility study, designing, sizing, building and manufacturing skids, modules and treatment units in the workshop, and writing specifications, to delivering, commissioning, maintaining and providing operational support for systems and infrastructure, as well as overseeing and conducting tests (experimental protocols and plans, tests, interpretation of the results, recommendations).
Our experts also carry out additional analyses of existing treatment infrastructure.
To support you with your Research & Development activities, OiEau can provide you with access to its technical platforms, which are unique in Europe and designed in line with the “living lab” concept.
Through its team of permanent experts, OiEau provides you with long-term support involving complementary services such as process qualification and approval, recommendations for areas of improvement and preliminary designs, optimisation of technology choices, design and operations, communication and exploitation of research and test results, and knowledge transfer (especially through training).
