Networking of water stakeholders

Since its creation in 1991, OiEau has developed a French and international network of partners and customers with a wide range of profiles: ministries, international organisations, local authorities, water and sanitation services, transboundary basin organisations, industrial companies, research centres, funding bodies, universities, elected representatives and more.

Over time, OiEau has been entrusted to coordinate or serve as the technical secretariat for around a dozen communities in the water, biodiversity and wider environmental sector, in France, in Europe and worldwide.

Our role?

Sharing and enriching information and experiences on common themes, developing projects and organising events together. Today, digital tools play a key role in building and facilitating these communities of stakeholders across vast distances (websites, webinars, newsletters and distance learning).

Sharing lies at the heart of our values centred on the general interest, helping to foster participation, creativity, effectiveness and innovation in a spirit of collaboration.

Facilitating networks of professionals is central to the DNA of our association. OiEau facilitates the sharing of experiences and the emergence of field projects, coordinates the production of collective expertise and organises events to showcase and disseminate best practices. By doing so, we provide genuine value for our members.
