Participation in the animation of the French Wetlands Network

OiEau participates in the animation of the wetlands resource centre, especially by taking part in the implementation of the CEAP strategy (Communication, Education, Awareness and Participation), within the National Wetlands Plan.

It organises awareness-raising events, leads technical meetings, carries out studies on various subjects, and participates in leading the network of wetland managers.

Most of the actions carried out within the framework of this project contribute to the resource centre's portal: https://www.zones-humides.org.

The International Office for Water promotes the sharing and dissemination of information, knowledge and experience on wetlands:

• contributing to the implementation of the CEPA strategy (communication, education, awareness-raising, participation), by taking part in structuring and leading the monitoring of the strategy,
• organisation of technical events for wetland managers, with the aim of increasing their skills,
• organising events for specific audiences (elected representatives, town planners, the general public, etc.), with the aim of raising awareness,
• production of studies, for example on training and media coverage of wetlands,
• participation in updating the resource centre portal.
