The project in brief

After phase 1, this new phase of the project, which will start in mid-2024 and last 2 years, will be funded by the Rhine-Meuse and Loire-Brittany Water Agencies and will allow:

  • Go further in implementing and promoting the achievements of the Integrated Water Resources Management process in the Stung Sen basin and in Cambodia by continuing the work of the previous phase and improving its visibility,
  • Training the Technical Secretariat of Cambodia's National Committee for River Basin Management in IWRM at the river basin level.

OiEau's missions

  • Improve communication and awareness-raising activities and develop regional and international exchanges,
  • Deepen and enhance the activities of the Stung Sen working groups and support the implementation of the Stung Sen action plan through decentralised cooperation,
  • Support the national committee for basin management and its secretariat.
