The November 2024 GEMAPI newsletter has just been published

The GEMAPI newsletter brings together the latest news on aquatic environment management and flood prevention.
In this month's issue:
- Agenda
- Policy - Strategy - Legal aspects
- Implementation
- Further information on flooding

The GEMAPI (GEstion des Milieux Aquatiques et Prévention des Inondations - Aquatic Environment Management and Flood Prevention) newsletter was launched at the beginning of 2017, in anticipation of the mandatory assumption of GEMAPI responsibility from 2018. It centralises recent information relating to this competence: publications, articles, events, etc.
The aim is to provide up-to-date information on the strategic and legal aspects, as well as an overview of implementation in the region (actions, points of attention, etc.).
It is aimed at people working in the structures responsible for GEMAPI: decentralised government departments, water agencies, other players involved in water management, etc.
A new issue of the newsletter is currently published on average every three months.
This letter is produced by Gest'eau, a site created and managed by OiEau, with the financial support of the OFB (French Biodiversity Office) and the support of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion.
