The 22nd International Euro-INBO Conference on the implementation of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) and other related policies took place from 19 to 23 May 2025 in Parma, Italy, at the invitation of the Po Basin Authority and the Municipality of Parma, and in partnership with the French Biodiversity Agency.
Over 5 days, more than 200 stakeholders involved in river basin management discussed current water management issues, such as flood and drought control, food security, sustainable agriculture and concerted governance.

Created in 2003, EURO INBO is a regional component of the International Network of Basin Organisations (INBO). With 192 members from 88 countries, this non-profit association under French law places the promotion of and support for the implementation of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) in national and transboundary river basins at the heart of its mission of general interest.
INBO, whose permanent technical secretariat is provided by OiEau, is now a recognised player in all international initiatives working to improve the security of water resources and aquatic environments, for peace and sustainable development.
