Bali Coalition: a survey on training and capacity building needs

Published on 09/18/25

As part of the Bali Coalition, an initiative led by OiEau as the secretariat of the International Network of Water Training Centres (RICFME), a major international survey is being launched to identify the training and capacity-building needs of water stakeholders around the world. This survey is part of a collective effort to make training a real lever for transformation in sustainable water and sanitation services.

The survey has three objectives: to identify the skills and knowledge needs of the organisations concerned, to demonstrate the impact of training as a strategic investment rather than a cost, and to promote inspiring projects led by partners.

For example, an Argentine member of the Coalition is organising a series of webinars on the Future of Water and Innovation for sanitation professionals — a concrete initiative that perfectly illustrates the network's ambitions.

All stakeholders in the water sector are invited to respond to this online survey before 27 October 2025. The results will be shared with all Coalition partners and presented at the IWRA World Water Congress in December 2025.

By participating in this survey, you are helping to build a shared vision of training needs, support international advocacy for skills development, and fuel a global momentum for better water management.
