Water & Biodiversity knowledge base

The Water and Biodiversity knowledge base is the result of a process of reflection carried out by the The "Eau & Biodiversité" (Water & Biodiversity) documentation network to enhance its skills and documentary collections while enriching them with new digital resources. It is part of OiEau's long-term partnership with the French Office of Biodiversity to offer free and open access to all S&T and news documentation on water and biodiversity. Its aim is to make the knowledge currently available on water and biodiversity freely available to all.
The project in brief
In addition to the The "Eau & Biodiversité" (Water & Biodiversity) documentation portal, this database brings together resources in various forms: texts, webinars, podcasts, computer graphics, data sets, etc.
It allows information to be searched by keywords or by an experimental conversational agent (artificial intelligence - AI) to enable natural language interrogation within a controlled, neutral and qualitative information perimeter.
It is regularly enriched by document and knowledge management specialists and makes information available to a wide audience, from citizens to decision-makers, technicians, journalists, etc.
OiEau's missions
- Definition of technical specifications,
- Initial IT development and future developments,
- Regular enhancement of the resources offered for research.
