Rivers and water bodies: regulations, initiation, management, restoration, diagnosis

The NOTRe French law provides for the transfer of "aquatic environment management" and "flood prevention" competencies to inter-communal autho¬rities. The protection of natural aquatic areas and the preservation of biodiversity are priority issues.
