Publication of the National Hydrological Situation Bulletin and its cartographic atlas
The project in brief
The National Hydrological Situation Bulletin (BSH national) describes the state of water resources in France on a given date. It consists of a set of maps, trend graphs and accompanying commentary presenting the quantitative status of water resources according to major themes (effective rainfall, river flows, groundwater levels, reservoir filling status, aquatic environments).
The national BSH is the result of collaboration between various data producers and managers (including Météo-France, VNF, the DREALs (regional directorates for environment, development and the economy), the EPTBs (water basin public establishments), the BRGM, the OFB, etc.). It is intended to provide a non-specialist audience with a regular, comprehensive and easily understandable overview of the quantitative situation of aquatic environments. It is published monthly on the eaufrance website.
