The project in brief

This project is a continuation of the Explore2070 project, which in 2012 assessed the impacts of climate change on aquatic environments and water resources in the 2070 timeframe, based on the 4th IPCC report (AR4, 2007). Explore2 proposes to update these results and to multiply the flow calculation points (limited to 1522 in Explore2070) along the river network in order to provide results on small ungauged catchments.

This project includes assistance to the territorial stakeholders in understanding and using these results to adapt their strategies for resource management. OiEau coordinates this second part of the project, with the ambition of reinforcing the dialogue between the users of the results so that each one initiates territorial prospective approaches on the uses of water and the conditions of its sustainable management to set up the adequate adaptation measures.

OiEau's missions

Supporting territorial stakeholders in the use of hydrological indicators produced by the scientific consortium through awareness-raising, communication and training activities for the various user panels.
