EU4Environment – Water Resources and Environmental Data: OiEau is looking for a local contractor to develop a River Basin Management Plan in Armenia

EU4Environment – Water Resources and Environmental Data aims to improve the preservation and sustainable use of natural resources in the EU's Eastern Partner countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine). The programme builds upon the success of previous programmes like the European Water Initiative Plus and the Shared Environmental Information System Phase II.


OiEau, acting as operator for the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, is implementing several activities under the EU4Environment – Water Resources and Environmental Data programme.

In the frame of the output dedicated to River Basin Management Plan, OiEau is launching a tender procedure as contracting authority for the following services: development of a river basin management plan for the northern river basin in Armenia.

EU4Environment - Water and Data is implemented by five Partner organisations: Environment Agency Austria (UBA), Austrian Development Agency (ADA), International Office for Water (OiEau) (France), Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). The programme is principally funded by the European Union and co-funded by the Austrian Development Cooperation and the French Artois-Picardie Water Agency based on a budget of EUR 12,75 million (EUR 12 million EU contribution). The implementation period is 2021-2024.
