Continuing training for water professionals proves to be an essential investment to enable them to adapt to continuous regulatory and technical changes: European Directives, water laws, development of remote management, membrane filtration ...
Since its creation, the French National Water Training Centre has proposed training programmes that meet the objective of enhancing the skills of the staffs involved in the treatment, conservation and management of water resources, a resource that is increasingly sought for and more and more fragile.
With first-rate educational facilities (7,500m ² of technical and educational equipment, regularly upgraded – laying out of drinking water supply systems - laboratory - water and sludge treatment plants - sewerage systems that can be visited - metrology unit – meters reading and leak detection ...) and thanks to a team of thirty permanent trainers and a network of over 150 professional lecturers, the NWTC proposes a wide range of training courses: nearly 330 courses in the 2012 catalogue, allowing professionals to easily find the training modules that are necessary for their curriculum.
Constantly concerned about the quality of its organization and its services, the NWTC has obtained the ISO 9001 certification and the “AquaPlus” and “Qualipluie” Labels (Waterplus and stormwater quality).
At the international level, the NWTC is exporting its know-how by participating in the creation of water training centres over the world (Poland, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Africa ...) and is an active member of INWTC (International Network of Water Training Centres).
